Metal-Fighter (Educational Robot)

Metal-Fighter

Metal-fighter is a biped (2-legged) humanoid programmable walking robot designed for educational needs. It contains MR-C3024 FX controller and 17 MRS-D2009SP servo motors.
The robot is supported by MSRDS (Microsoft Robotics Developer Studio) platform that enables anyone to create robot applications using a visual programming environment, stimulate robots applications in 3D physics-based virtual environments, interact with robots using Windows or Web-based interfaces, write programs to handle asynchronous input from multiple robotics sensors and output to motors and actuators, build high-level functions using reusable code modules, supports remote control, develop applications using different styles of programming languages.

You (or your child) will learn basic programming concepts by programming Metal-fighter and enabling him to perform more and more sophisticated actions. Metalfighter can be controlled with a remote controller or joystick. You can also control him nearby via Bluetooth. The robot can see and speak!
